Svalbard

Renowned for its harsh climate, vast glaciers, and polar bears, Svalbard is a remarkable place that holds a special place in my heart. Despite its high latitude, the island has a remarkable diversity of both plants and marine life due to the warm Gulf Current. I came to Svalbard at the age of ten and have since 2017 spent the summers exploring every corner of this fascinating archipelago.
